WHERE IM COMING FROM

ABOUT ME

Kentucky-bred, King P. along with 8 Fifty Nine Entertainment, has risen to the top of the Kentucky hip hop scene. In 2016, after winning a Southern Entertainment Award for Best Label/Group in the South, the team decided to focus on their individual goals. This led to a couple of solo projects by 8 Fifty Nine ENT artist and super-producer, KamDoe, titled “HateLove” and “Gasanova”. After the success from “Gasanova”, which had multiple features from King P. and various other artist, including Kentucky’s own Big Homie Hoody, King P. dropped the controversial street banger “Lebron’z”. “Lebron’z” is a hot track with a dope message, FIX THE FUTURE!

Following the release of “Lebron’z”, King P.  hit the road. He traveled across America starting in Nashville and Memphis promoting his single. Linking up with a lot of DJs and major players in the industry, such as DJ Alamo, Gorilla Zoe, Lil Flip, Gillie Da Kid, Pastor Troy, DJ Reezy, and DJ X from X-Gang, King P. learned the ins and outs of the game. This led to a Miami video shoot for “Lebron’z” with world famous videographer, Gorilla Grind Films. This visual can be found on YouTube.

After a successful launch of two singles, “Kan’t Even Find Me” and “Lebron’z”, King P. looks to take the 8 Fifty Nine Entertainment brand and the new non-profit organization: 'The Black Academy', into new heights. The Black Academy is a company that King P. along with others created to help educate the youth on life issues such as financial freedom, health/wellness, and technology. Nominated again for SEA Awards Best Label of the Year and also Mixtape Artist of the Year for KamDoe’s “Gasanova” and Kentucky Urban Entertainment Awards Mixtape of the Year for WorldWide Vince and King P.’s “It’s 4:20 Somewhere”,  2019 is the year of the Grynd for 8 Fifty Nine Entertainment. New material from King P., KamDoe, and BawMan Ju are coming in 2019 along with the release of 8 Fifty Nine Entertainment Network and Tech Ventures. 8FNE TV will provide a platform for Kentucky to display all of its cultural riches, from hip hop to fashion and more. Tech Ventures is a marketing company that uses technology to advance modern businesses. Catch the wave.
